Grinzane Cavour, a small village developed around its prestigious castle, is one of the symbols of the Langhe hills. The castle was home to Count Camillo Benso, who was personally involved in the improvement of the production techniques of the majestic red wines of Piedmont. Today, the castle hosts the "Enoteca Regionale del Piemonte", one of the most comprehensive ethnographic museums of the wine tradition in the region.
