Ponta Delgada is the most developed town in the Azores. Whitewashed houses and buildings, monasteries and churches adorn the rolling hills surrounding the city. Cobblestone streets and squares decorate the center.
Head in the evening to the beautiful promenade, and enjoy some delicious “Petiscos" (Portuguese tapas) of different types of fish, before you end the day with a relaxing stroll along the coast line.
