Overview

This beautiful 1900-built church, then a cathedral, became a museum that was eventually closed then re-opened in 2004. The museum is about the history of the northern Saharan region of Algeria. 

The building structure has a special architecture that is typical of the region. It is located in the northeastern part of Laghouat besides the public gardens and the Rehbet-Ezzitoun Market.
