Flemish Region Events

The Tour of Flanders, one of cycling's most prestigious one-day "Monument" races, starts from Bruges' Markt each spring; the 2027 edition will be its 111st. Ghent's Gentse Feesten, a ten-day summer festival, draws an estimated 1 to 1.5 million visitors with music, theatre and outdoor events across the city's historic centre.

Bruges hosts a Christmas market and Winter Glow light installations each winter, and Antwerp, Leuven and Mechelen all hold their own smaller annual cultural festivals through the year. Confirm exact dates with each event's organiser before travelling, as most shift year to year.
