In a nutshell, I hope to see as much of the world as possible---places on the other side of the world and places that are just up the road. I’m a historian by trade, so I’m naturally drawn to places with an interesting history (and truthfully, that’s most places). I hope to show people how beautiful and fascinating the world is—not only the famously scenic locations, but the ordinary, everyday places that we sometimes pass by and fail to notice. More than just a travel how-to, I hope to tell the stories behind each destination, and hopefully capture in photographs the sights for which I lack words.
