Two buildings, a few hundred metres apart, and both are the reason to come. The Museo Gypsotheca Antonio Canova holds the sculptor's plaster originals in a nineteenth-century gallery extended by Carlo Scarpa in 1957; the Tempio Canoviano on the hillside above is the church Canova designed for his village and was buried in.
One ticket covers the museum and Canova's birthplace beside it. The Tempio is a working parish church and free to enter.
