Another top-rated museum that boasts the richness of Dutch art is the Van Gogh Museum. It is located a couple of blocks away from the Rijksmuseum. Van Gogh Museum has a significant amount of Vincent's unsold art collections. It has around 200 paintings, 400 drawings, and about 700 letters that Vincent Van Gogh himself has written.

The museum also displays other contemporary arts and sculptures. There are works of sculpture by Auguste Rodin and Jules Dalou on display. It is also where paintings of Claude Monet, John Russel, and Emile Bernard, among others, are displayed.

The architecture of the museum itself is a stunner. The Rietveld building that houses the permanent collection has a geometric shape and open spaces encompassing modern architecture and design. Its Kurokawa Wing for exhibitions has an elliptical building with an angular axis.

One of the highlights of the museum is the digital presentation of the artist’s life and works. It is through the so-called “Meet Vincent Van Gogh Experience.” This virtual tour will take visitors to the inspiring world of art and how Vincent became an important cultural icon.
