Caldeira Crater
Overview
The Caldeira crater on top of Mount Cabeço Gordo in the Azores has impressive dimensions, a diameter of 2km and a depth of 500m. From the lookout point on the riff, you have spectacular views of the crater, surrounded by blue hydrangeas, and covered with ferns and mosses.
