Lotte Hotel is the first Lotte hotel that is housed in a historical building that used to be a mansion built in 1851, located on St Isaac's Square. The Moyka River flows right in front of the hotel and the Mariinsky theatre is right next to it, which creates romantic surroundings and a great position of Lotte Hotel.

History
The Lotte Hotel was the home of the first ambassador of the Russian Empire and the famous Russian writer Nikolay Gogol. Alexandar Pushkin, a well-known world writer, also has a close connection to this hotel. There are annual Pushkin Readings events in the hotel and is even a hall named in the writer's honor.
In 2017, Lotte Hotel was named as Europe's Leading New Hotel by the World Travel Awards.
