Located 38 km from Valencia, Spain, Bunol stretches in an area of 112 km sq. The town offers scenic views as it is surrounded by the mountain ranges of Sierra de Malacara y Martes, La Sierra de Las Cabrillas and La Sierra de Dos Aguas.

The town is popular for its tomato throwing or “Tomatina” festival. The festival takes place in August whereby numerous people gather in Plaza del Pueblo to throw tomatoes on each other.

The climate of the town supports vegetation including almond trees, olive trees and grapes. The town’s economy is based on agriculture and industrial outputs.

The travellers can find both luxurious as well as moderate hotels here. Some of the hotels are Mas De Canicatti, El rincom, Masia el Ferrajon and Motal-rte La Carreta.

Some other activities apart from throwing tomatoes here include golf. The Club de Golf El Bosque here is currently the fifth largest golf course in Spain. For tourists who love night life can visit Bounty Valencia – a disco that plays feet tapping numbers.
