Best destinations by month

November through February is the strongest general window. Official climate normals show mild mean temperatures and limited rain, making long garden and neighbourhood walks easier. December holidays and cool-season weekends can increase demand.

March and April are warmer and increasingly exposed, though mornings still work well. Bengaluru Karaga falls in March or April on a changing ritual date; confirm that year's route and timing.

May through August brings more frequent rain and cooler conditions after the pre-monsoon heat. Carry rain protection and keep an indoor alternative for a wet interval. The Lalbagh flower show associated with Independence Day creates a local August peak.

September and October have the highest official rainfall normals. They can still be rewarding, but traffic, standing water and outdoor plans need more margin. January's Republic Day flower show is another busy Lalbagh period.
