Keep a little mystery in your trip planning: flip this switch on and Explorer Picture Mode shows a stylized version of every place instead of the real photo, so you can go by the description and reviews first and picture it your own way -- turn it off again any time, or reveal the real photo for just one place at a time from its own page.

Caorle

Caorle Events

Changed

The beach season from June to early September is the town's whole calendar, with events, markets and entertainment running nightly through it.

Scultura Viva, the sculpture symposium behind the Scogliera Viva, adds new carved boulders to the breakwater periodically and is the town's most distinctive cultural event.

The Madonna dell'Angelo festival, every five years, brings a procession of boats to the church on the rocks -- the old fishing town's own occasion.

Winter is quiet, with the Christmas period the only real activity in the old centre.
