The Palio di Feltre, first Sunday of August, is the town's great day: a horse race, costumed quarters and a week of associated events, commemorating the 1404 submission to Venice.

Feltre Cinema and a summer season of concerts use Piazza Maggiore and the Teatro de la Sena through July and August.

In autumn the chestnut and mushroom sagre in the valley villages are local affairs, and the best eating of the year.
