The Fiera di Porto Viro and the various village sagre through the summer are the local calendar -- mussel, clam, eel and rice festivals in the fishing villages, which are the honest way to eat here.

Spring and autumn migration are the events that matter most: April-May and September-October bring the greatest numbers and variety of birds, and the park organises guided excursions around them.

The Delta Blues Festival at Rovigo each summer is the province's main music event.

Rosolina Mare's beach season from June to September is the Delta's one properly touristic period, and the only time accommodation on the coast is tight.
