How to Get Around Soave
Getting Around
Soave has no railway station. The nearest is San Bonifacio, two kilometres away on the Verona-Venice line, with frequent trains and a fifteen-minute bus or a half-hour walk from there.
By road it is directly off the A4 at the Soave-San Bonifacio exit, which is how most visitors arrive; Verona is about 25 minutes and Vicenza about 30.
The town itself is small and flat and entirely walkable; the castle is a steep ten to fifteen minutes up on foot, or a short drive.
The Classico hills effectively require a car or a bicycle. There is no useful public transport into the vineyards, and the roads are narrow but quiet.
