Radicchio season (roughly November to February) is the city's real annual event, with festivals in the surrounding towns -- Dosson, Zero Branco, Mogliano -- built around the harvest, and every restaurant in the province rewriting its menu.

Ombralonga in autumn is a wandering wine crawl through the historic centre, closer to a civic institution than a festival.

The grape harvest in the Prosecco hills, from late August into September, is the busiest and most interesting time in the country north of the city.
