How to Get Around Aurora

A car is essential. Aurora has no useful public transport, and everything — the outlets, the preserves, the neighbouring cities — requires driving.

Parking is free and plentiful everywhere, including at the outlet centre and the trailheads.

Distances: Cleveland is about 40 minutes north-west, Akron 30 minutes south-west, the Cuyahoga Valley national park 20 minutes west, and Kent about 20 minutes south-east.

Getting here: Cleveland Hopkins airport is around 50 minutes away; Akron-Canton is closer but smaller.

Walking works within the village and on the trails, but not between destinations.

Winter driving requires care; the side roads here are among the snowier in the region.
