How to Get Around Cleveland

A car is the practical choice for most visitors, as it is across the American Midwest. Parking downtown is plentiful and reasonably priced by big-city standards.

The RTA Red Line runs from the airport through downtown to University Circle and is genuinely useful — Cleveland was the first American city to connect its airport to downtown by rail, in 1968.

The HealthLine bus rapid transit runs along Euclid Avenue between downtown and University Circle, which is the connection most visitors need.

Walking works within downtown, Ohio City and University Circle individually, but not between them.

Ride-hailing is widely available and inexpensive.

The Cuyahoga Valley has a scenic railway that will carry bicycles.
