The Statue of Peter the Great stands by the Moskva River in Moscow, Russia. It is one of the tallest statues in the world (6th) being about 94m high.

This monument was made by controversial sculptor-painter-architect Zurab Tsereteli. His work is often the subject of strong public criticism. Often voted as one of the ugliest artwork globally, the statue is mostly an attraction due to its size, location, and overwhelming public critism.
