Panzano in Chianti Events

Vino al Vino, the third weekend in September. Panzano's wine festival, held in Piazza Bucciarelli, as published by Visit Tuscany. It is the one weekend of the year when the village is genuinely full.

The Concerto di Ferragosto, in the pieve di San Leolino. Run by the Comunità di San Leolino: in 2026 on Friday 14 August at 18:30, with the Quartetto Kairos playing Dittersdorf, Lyadov and Dvořák, and refreshments afterwards in the cloister of the pieve.

The community's own calendar runs through the year. Also at the pieve: La fontana in fiore, the Festa della Beata Vergine Maria del Monte Carmelo, Il Tempo per l'anima, the Festa degli Artisti, a Festival di cultura umanistica, a Festa di sant'Eufrosino, and concerts at Advent and Epiphany. Dates move year to year; the community publishes them itself.

15 August is the patronal feast, Santa Maria Assunta.
