Keep a little mystery in your trip planning: Explorer Picture Mode shows a stylized version of every place instead of the real photo, so you can go by the description and reviews first and picture it your own way -- reveal the real photo any time by flipping the switch off, or just for one place at a time from its own page.

The following is a list of activities that are available in the Nashville area, and include:

1. The Grand Ole Opry is the biggest draws for travelers to this area, and features singers and musicians of a wide variety of country, western, Christian, pop, and bluegrass music. The Country Music Hall of Fame is also a must see for guests who enjoy country music and the artists.

2. For guests who enjoy a nice walk in a stunning park, or a picnic, the Centennial Park is one of the local parks, but what makes this one unique is the replica of the Parthenon in the middle of the park.

3. Many visitors enjoy museums, and for those the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of art is just what the doctor ordered!

4. History buffs will enjoy the Tennessee State Museum that depicts the history and culture of the area, and it includes a collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the Civil War.
