Ancash is a fascinating region of Peru with tropical weather on it's Pacific coast and eternal Snow Peaks in the Cordillera Blanca (White Mountain Range). It's highest mountain is Mount Huascarán while Mount Alpayamo has been voted one of the most beautiful snow peaks of the world.
