Alexandar Pushkin, a well-known world writer, also has a close connection to this hotel. There are annual Pushkin Readings events in the hotel and is even a hall named in the writer's honor.
In 2017, Lotte Hotel was named as Europe's Leading New Hotel by the World Travel Awards.
