Lake Bled

Located 55 km from Slovenia's capital Ljubljana. It is one of the most beautiful and touristic lakes in the country. The lake is situated in a picturesque setting, surrounded by forests and mountains. The medieval castle of Bled is situated above the lake on the northern shore. 

Bled Island is the only island, that was not man-made,  that can be found in all of Slovenia. Withing several of its historical buildings, there are 99 stairs that lead to a 15th-century church on top of the island.
