The most popular spot in the Wenshan District of Taipei is Maokong (貓空). The name is from the special full of kettle holes terrain formed by water erosion. Take metro to Taipei zoo and transfer to Maokong Gondola, it will bring you into an unknown area inside the green. Get off in middle way, Chih Nan Gong (Chih Nan Temple) is built in 1890 where you can know about the god and goddess worshipped by Daoists. Enjoy the nature of tea farms by walking along Zhanghu Trail and Feilong Trail. Go to Three Stone Teapot Museum, Chang Nai-miao Memorial Hall and Taipei Tea Promotion Center for Tieguanyin and Baozhong can help you to know the tea history in Maokong, demonstrate how to make and taste tea. You can find some good tea houses for meal and desserts made with tea leaves and tasty tea, Muzha Tieguanyin and Wenshan Baozhong tea are most famous here. Local people like to spend evening with tea and chat to relax after work and appreciate the view of starry Taipei.
