Capri’s sights divide between the sea and the heights. Below are the Blue Grotto and the Faraglioni stacks, both reached by boat; above are a Roman imperial villa, a Swedish doctor’s house full of antiquities, a fourteenth-century monastery and the island’s highest point. Almost everything worth seeing involves either a boat or a climb, and the climbs are the ones most visitors skip.
