- — Cinecittà is founded, becoming a temple of cinema in Italy.
- 1974–2013 — the partnership of Ettore Scola and Luciano Ricceri runs through C'eravamo tanto amati (1974), Brutti, sporchi e cattivi (1976), Una giornata particolare (1977), La terrazza (1980), La famiglia (1987), Il viaggio di Capitan Fracassa (1990), La cena (1998), Concorrenza sleale (2001) and Che strano chiamarsi Federico (2013), which Scola dedicated to Federico Fellini and shot in Teatro 5.
- 1976 — the head of Venusia is made for Fellini's Il Casanova.
- — the exhibition and museum structure begins its continuous expansion.
- Today — the visit takes in Cinecittà si Mostra and the MIAC, four exhibition routes, the permanent Roma Antica set built for the HBO series Rome, the "Un medico in famiglia" set, Studio EL and, from October to June, Cinebimbicittà.
