Located 40 miles from Chicago, the city is situated in Fox River Valley. Though the area was home to Native Americans, it was James and Charity Herrington who were instrumental in creating the town of Geneva.

The town is suburb of Chicago and one can easily access Chicago from here. The town has a station Union Pacific that offers frequent services to downtown Chicago.

Sine Geneva is located in Fox River Valley, it offers scenic views. The bike trail over here stretches from Fox River Trail to Illinois Prairie Path. One of the historic places to visit here is the old Dutchmill that dates back to 1850s.

The city offers accommodation to tourists that range from luxurious to moderate stay. One can reach here via the O’Hare International Airport.
