As the capital of the state of Maryland, Annapolis was originally founded in 1649 and was actually once the capital of the United States between 1783 and 1784. There are many things to do in this area with all the local history from the American Revolutionary war, the War of 1812, and the Civil war, this city has some very interesting history and some great activities in the area.
