There are so many things to see and do in Philadelphia, and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts that's actually located on the Avenue of the Arts, and it's closely tied to the Academy of Music as well. This is an incredible concert hall that was built in 2000 for the Philadelphia Orchestra. It was designed by Rafael Voñoly and one of the most talent designers of acoustics in the world, Artec Consultants, ensured that the sound was the most incredible of any venue in the country.

This Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts has two main performance halls and a number of smaller areas for performances and meetings.

- The main hall, Verizon Hall, seats 2500 visitor and it contains one of the most spectacular pipe organs that is the largest mechanical one in the entire United States.

- Another fantastic performance hall in this amazing venue is the Perelman Theater; it's smaller – seating on 650 people – but its unique feature is the 75 foot stage that on a turntable allowing it to be used as a recital hall or theater.

- Above the Perelman Theater is the Dorrance H. Hamilton Roof Garden that is perfect for various events, meetings and small outdoor concerts

- It's also the home of the Kimmel Center Youth Jazz ensemble that showcases some of the most talented youth musicians.
