Hotel Bauer Palazzo

The Hotel Bauer Palazzo is a luxury hotel, near Piazza San Marco, by the Grand Canal in Venice. It was initially inaugurated as the Grand Hotel d'Italie Bauer-Grünwald in 1880. The hotel combines a Venetian palace of the 1700s with a newer structure constructed in the mid-20th century.

As a working hotel rather than a museum, the building's historic rooms and public salons are best experienced by guests or by visiting its bar respectfully, rather than treating the lobby as a photo stop.

Hotel Bauer Palazzo sits on Campo San Moisè, a short walk from Piazza San Marco, with its own private landing stage on the Grand Canal reachable by water taxi or the San Marco vaporetto stop.
