The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, is more of a wonderland – you will find yourself virtually transported to Venice, Italy, and it's great canals. The favorite landmarks of the place dot its exterior. There are portions of Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Square, the Campanile and a canal). Inside, soaring ceilings, archways and pillars, all mostly made of marble, fill the expansive spaces. Shop, dine and play! The Grand Canal Shoppes features a mock Italian village, complete with a canal with gondoliers. The shops are a combination of chic fashion and decent bargains. There are over 130 casino games. The state-of-the-art slot and poker games and highly charged atmosphere make for a world-class gaming experience. The Venetian Hotel Casino Las Vegas also boasts of a 112,000 square foot poker room. Games include Roulette, a wide variety of poker (pai gow, 357, Three Card, Texas Hold 'Em, Let it Ride stud poker), craps, blackjack and baccarat. The hotel also prides itself in housing the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum, a branch of the famous Guggenheim Museum.
